2015 Is Set to Introduce the all New HONDA CIVIC

A refreshed and updated version of the Honda Civic is set to be released in 2015, following a number of features that have been revisited and enhanced. The Civic has now reached an optimum of quality and technology, and boasts features that many other family hatchbacks are unable to offer.

Subtle changes have been made to the exterior of the car, but noted were the new headlamps that feature daytime running lights – sitting amongst the sportier looking front, along with the classy LED rear lights and deeper side skirts. It’s no question that the Civic has benefitted from its exterior improvements and unlike the former Civic models, this current edition has been accepted as an ‘attractive car’ in the motor industry.

Moving through the interior of the new Civic, it becomes apparent that an upmarket approach has been taken when designing the cabin. The addition of chrome and the more refined upholstery has displayed attention to detail within the interior of this revitalised car. But it seems Honda may have gone a step too far with the upmarket approach when installing the unconventional split dashboard – as it’s certainly an acquired taste! Nevertheless when it comes to comfort, passengers have no need to complain as copious amounts of space means they have a pleasant journey ahead.

The Civic takes ownership of some in-car tech that rivals the best of its competitors, keeping Honda in sync and up to date with the current market. Honda plan to debut their latest infotainment system in the 2015 Civic, and some of the things included in a basic model are; an updated navigation system, Bluetooth connectivity allowing for audio connectivity and hands free calling, power windows, power locks and the real time traffic data service. This contemporary technology hugely contrasts the type that was seen in the first ever Honda Civic that was produced over 40 years ago!

Honda have also announced a further addition to the Civic line-up with the Civic Sport – a compromise between features of the standard Civic hatchback and the Honda Civic Type – R. The Civic Sport will have a more muscular appearance with a bulkier exterior, and is available with either a 140bhp 1.8-litre petrol engine or an 118bhp 1.6 litre diesel engine.

Prices for the 2015 Honda Civic range are yet to be announced – but if you are interested in a car which has been through a timeline of changes to get to today’s sleek and elegant model, ensure you visit www.vantagemotorgroup.co.uk.
